The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District, in partnership with the Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department, is hosting its next Neighborhood Fitness event on Saturday, March 8, at Brockhampton Park, located at 5934 Brockhampton Street. Registration is required.

Our next Litter Critter event will be on Saturday, March 8, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the West Intermediate School parking lot, located at 4030 County Road 69 in Calallen.  Remember to be prepared to unload your own items.

Children ages 5 to 8 can explore several self-guided STEM stations that involve building and problem-solving on Wednesday, March 12, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at La Retama Central Library, 805 Commanche Street.

Children ages 8 and up are invited to learn about incredible creatures and their habitats during a Spring Break Reptile Adventure with Oso Bay Wetlands Preserve and Learning Center staff on Wednesday, March 12, beginning at 3:00 p.m. at the Ben F. McDonald Public Library, 4044 Greenwood Drive. Get up close and personal with a friendly Texas tortoise or mesmerizing snake!

The City of Corpus Christi’s Planning and Community Development Department encourages residents to engage during office hours for the Fiscal Year 2026 Annual Action Plan, which focuses on housing, community development, and addressing homelessness. 

Discover the wonders of the natural world through the engaging series Science Thursdays, hosted by Corpus Christi Public Libraries. Each session explores various innovative topics, from forensics to the marvels of marine life.

What can your child build? Enhance their creativity and social skills with building blocks on Friday, March 14, at 3:00 p.m. at the Anita & W.T. Neyland Public Library, 1230 Carmel Parkway. All blocks will be provided for this all-ages activity!
